my new cochin hen has this lump on her foot, it doesn't seem to hurt but I wanna treat it. Anyone know what this is and how to cure it? I put some ballistol on it for now

Looks like she has Scaly Leg Mites. Hopefully the lump attached to the bottom of the toes will come off as you treat her. Get some photos of what the skin looks like when they do.
