Male or Female Italian Coturnix Quail

(this is probably a stupid question but here I go ant ways

Is this a male or a female Italian Coturnix Quail? How can you tell the gender of Italian Coturnix Quail? Also can some one post a picture of a male Italian coturnix Quail and One of a female for me please so I can see the difference.

you can sex they like browns. If they have speckles of black on their chest then its a female. males have a rusty colored chest with no spots

From what I'm looking at its still to young to tell. However a neat trick on the speckles and goldens I just learned from a breeder. Of their beak has black in it, it's a rooster. If the beak is peach/pink its a hen!

Def not too young to tell. Its a female. The chest speckling is obvious and unless you've bred specifically for a black band around the neck gold speckled roosters will almost never have a black band.

Thank you all for the answers.I got this guy from a breeder (alone with 5 others), I was originally just supposed to be getting jumbo browns and Texas A&Ms from the breeder (those are the only two colors that I knew he had)but this girls color came up differently then the rest, I originally thought that she was a mix of the two colors brown and A&M white but after doing some more research on the colors of coturnix quail, I realized that she was Italian colored (it also explains the rusty tint on her feathers)but dose any one have a picture of a male Italian cotunix quail, so I can see the difference
