mama hen is acting strange

Australop is about 1 year old, shes been a really good egg layer...was fine all morning, now is acting odd. she first looked like she was struggling to lay a egg, then was panting hard. now calmed down but is walking really slow and keeps hiding in a different laying box and falling asleep. rest of hens are running around like normal. located north georgia mountians.

If she's day sleeping in a nesting box, I think she is definitely not feeling well. Anything different today? I would check her crop for impacted crop and if you have more fortitude than I, check to see if she is egg bound. If both are good, see if you can get her to drink some garlic water (water with fresh chopped garlic having soaked in in it for a while) or put some in her beak with a syringe. Garlic water has saved so many of my girls. I always have one drinker with garlic in it. Please post an update.
