I have a hen the just started to limping today and doesn't walk much. There's a lump about the diameter of a dime on her right leg. It feels pretty solid...a bit dense but not rock solid nor really soft i guess. No odor, no discharge, no broken skin and no brusing. Almost like a little balloon. I can easily move it around too. What could it be? A cyst? If so then from what? I know the pics aren't the best. I'll try more later. Thanks for any help.

Does your hen hold up the leg or put weight on it when she walks? Doe sit seem numb? Does the lump look like it could be an ingrown feather cyst? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease?

Doesn't look like an ingrown feather. She barely pits weight on it. Hops on one leg. Doesn't feel like it's connected deep into the leg. Mostly under the skin mass. And she's from Tractor Supply 2 years ago. Not sure if they vaccinate.
