Heeeey everybody!
I am going to be growing something called Micro Greens.
I am going to be doing alfalfa and clover.

I would be able to do this over winter to be able to give them fresh greens that are healthy for them along with dried peas I am going to be purchasing along with wheat berries or grains. I already have a mixture I am doing but I am now adding pulverized oyster shells to give them more calcium.
So I am taking other BYC users advice and putting it to use!
Especially @Perris
So if anybody sees anything wrong with this please let me know!
P.S I don’t want to ferment.

I haven't tried sprouting, but that looks nice and simple.

keep this in a separate container, so that those who feel the need for it can eat it but you don't force it on anyone else. They each know how much they need, and it varies.

Don't mix oyster shell with any food. Keep it strictly in a separate container (on the side) and they'll eat as much as needed. As they go through different phases in life (pre-lay, laying, winter molt, old age, etc), they'll adjust how much they eat to support their needs.

As for the sprouts, that is basically the same thing as fodder which is grown a little longer. I use a 50/50 mix of wheat and barley, but your mix should be fine. The more important point is giving them some variety and a nutritionally beneficial treat.
