Missing feathers

Help please! We have 14 chickens right now, 13 hens and a rooster. Almost all of the hens have huge bald spots on their backs. Some of them you can see the bones on their wings. We are getting plenty of eggs still, and the eggs seem healthy. I just don't know what is causing it.

It looks like treading (mating) from your rooster. Some people use chicken saddles/hen aprons to protect the hen's back from the rooster nails. Roosters can cause quite a bit of damage, especially on their "favorite" hen.
If any of them have broken skin/wounds, treat them with some plain neosporin, blue kote or vetericyn spray.

Check them over for any signs of lice/mites just to make sure there is no problem there as well.
 
It's probably from the rooster getting on her. I have heard good things about chicken saddles.
