Mites Infection in the Winter | Elector PSP Application

Hi everyone! My silkies have mites and I want to get these off ASAP. I have elector PSP and I want to spray each of them down and their coop(and clean the coop), but I’m worried to stress them out or to do this application in the cold. I’d try to take them inside to my basement to try to let them dry inside in the warmer air, or put a heater near them, but I’m so worried to stress them out. I wish it was summer, so I could just spray them and let them air dry in the heat while being happy in their little chicken area, but it’s about 30 degrees fahrenheit, so super cold outside. Does anyone have some tips for me? I’m so worried, their health seems fine other than the mites, but I don’t want to stress any of them out or accidentally introduce them to too many temperatures.

I would use permethrin powder (poultry dust) instead.I would still spray the coop however.
