I have 12 chicks. 5 that are right at 4 months and 7 that are only 2 weeks behind that.

Some of my 4 month old chicks are starting to show some of the behavior signs I’ve learned are from getting prepared to lay for the first time and I was wondering ahead of time so I can be prepared what ya’ll recommend as far as feed transitioning.

We currently use natures best organic chick crumble starter.

Thanks in advance for advice!!!

Put out a container or two of oyster shell for your pullets. You don't have to change feeding them starter. You can feed this way for life.
Just check the oyster shell containers weekly to ensure they have large pieces of shell in them and aren't just down to dust.
