mole repellent and chickens dont mix?

I applied Sweeney's Mole & Gopher Repellent to my pool area about 5 weeks ago and have lost a chicken every week for the last four weeks. It claims to be safe, No poisons but if you do not water it in good enough, like I may not have, your chickens may die like 4 of mine did. I can't be sure, but so far that is the only thing different. I do not use pesticides or herbicides in my yard or garden. I pull weeds and pick off bugs by hand, the chickens love tomato worms.
I hope the streak is over.

I had some mole repellent and it was a garlic based liquid. Didn't use it around my chickens and it didn't do anything for the moles either.

Could it be the heat or illness?
