Molting or health concern?

My Lavender orpington hen seems to have a spot where all the old feathers have been torn off. the pin feathers don't look great to me, is this a health concern? and if so, what can i do to help? she has the shredder gene if that's important.

The pin feathers take some time to come in. I'm not noticing anything unusual.

no. we used to, but we live in the city and it isn't allowed to have one here, so we gave him to my aunt in the summer.
