Mooresville ordinances

I have spent hours searching the Mooresville, IN ordinance site and have only been able to find an ordinance from 1997. I have seen and heard that people tried to get this changed to allow backyard chickens a few years ago but haven’t been able to find an update. I live right on the edge of town limits in a non-HOA subdivision and want to get a couple chickens (no rooster). I know someone in the subdivision had some last summer because I heard them, but haven’t been able to figure out who. Any help? Trying to figure out if this has changed or just not being actively enforced. Thanks!

I would just call them and find out who you can speak to about it.

Give them your address and if they can't answer it, they should be able to direct you to who can.
