Not overpriced "Crocs". Ten dollar garden clogs from Amazon. Put them on to walk your yard and take them off before you go back in your house. Too many times I dragged chicken (or dog!) crap around on my shoes. Cheap solution.

A noisy bucket! I trained my chickens to run to me when they hear me shake the treat bucket. It makes getting them in at dusk super easy and I've also used it to distract them from eating something I DON'T want them to have. Like a dropped screw or piece of trash they found....

Mine's not telescoping (because I don't clean the run), but I have two of them. One's metal, one's plastic. I use them together, like claws. Perfect for cleaning the poop trays daily. Poop goes into an empty feed bag, from there, off to the compost heap! Agree, the Pooper Scooper is the #1 most important chickening tool!
