Hi! I am looking for black mottled Brahmas. I am having no luck finding anyone near me that sell them. What breeds are mixed to get the mottled Brahma?

I have 2 buff Brahmas rightnow and I just love the temperament of the Brahma breed they are sooo sweet

Can you find a black Brahma? That would be even more efficient when bred to a mottled Cochin but they are also uncommon.

so I was trying to look, it does seem like finding a black Brahma is difficult as well to find . When I try looking for some even online, it seems I am finding more that are this color

That is a dark Brahma, I breed those and lights, you are going to have a very hard time finding someone who is breeding these without getting a dark Brahma and a black cochin. This is because the APA and ABA only approve dark, light, and buff. The only people who would try to breed for a black or mottled Brahma would be people who want to have a fun color, but it would take awhile because there are a lot of genetic math to figure out what can give you a mottled with the limited colors you have to work with. I would recommend getting Cochins, they are also more layer back and chill, but come in a lot of colors, and they are generally easier to find.
