Moving from brooder space to temporary outdoor run during day

So my oldest chicks are way overdue for moving out of my house but I haven't had a good space for them (been working on coop and run). I did put up one of those cheapo runs that are steel tubing and chicken wire, but that is not secure to leave them in overnight as I have all sorts of critters in my area.

That said, I want to begin to transition them to the outdoors as I am getting really close to at least finishing their portion of the coop and run. If I put them in the huge run (20'x10') will they be restless when I put them back into the much smaller brooder at night?

9 chicks, almost 6 weeks old, going from ~17 sqft to 200 sqft then back to 17 sqft at night, at least for a few more days.

Thoughts?

They should be fine! I'm new to backyard chicken keeping and I was worried about the same thing. But the coop is always smaller than the run! If you are still worried about predators at night you can always bring them in just for the night.
I will be bringing them in for the night but wanted them to be able to move about during the day and get used to the outdoors, because that is where they will be very soon.
