Multiple eggs a day then no eggs!

Hi all,
We have 4 hens, however the other day we had 7 eggs laid, 5 the next and now a day of no eggs at all. The nest was definitely checked regularly so no eggs from previous days. Is this normal? Should we be worried? I've tried looking this up but can't see what the cause could be. I do think 2 of the hens may be getting broody, could this be a cause? They are all only 9 months old.

It is normal for hens to take a break, especially when it's hot out or they're going broody. It is not normal, however, for a hen to lay multiple eggs a day. That's impressive!
