A couple raised these birds since the late 80s. After the husband passed, the wife was unable to care for the birds after a predator attack wiped out almost 75 birds. She made a post in a chicken group for Asils to a good home. So I drove 3 hours after work to pick them up. Upon arrival she's hysterical, these last 6 birds were her pets that she had locked away in the barn instead of in the chicken yard with the rest of the birds. After a goodbye that almost brought tears to my eyes I left without a clue as to what they were mixed with, the only thing she knew was there was Malay added 10-15 years ago and that's where the white colored birds came from. Here's the 6 from her yard. I paired the 3 hens that had similar appearance to each other with the rooster and let them breed.

Prior to which I had a Magada Blue Asil cross with a Hennie I got from a local breeder, I paired him with the 2 leftover hens.

From the first group I got a plethora of variations in color and body type amongst the roosters. Hens had slight variation in colors.

The second pairing produced colors that I really like. And an even more diverse color patterns amongst roosters and hens. Similar with the first group variations in body type.

I really like the birds above that have the lacing in them, I have paired them together. The rooster and darker hen came from the offspring of the second pairing, and the lighter hen came from offspring of the first pairing. Any tips for enhancing lacing are welcomed and appreciated.

Seems like a little American Game in some of the cocks. I don't breed for colour but it's not that hard. There is some inbreeding involved.
