My beautiful Black Diamond Chick

  Hi everyone!! This is my Beautiful Black Diamond juvenile chick Chicken Tender. She has a light Sussex Mix momma Named Icicle Frost, her daddy is Trouble Maker Pain In My Butt an Ayam Cemani mix. She had a rough start to life. At 1.5 months old she impaled her crop. And for 3 days we were unaware that everything in her tummy she consumed fell right out. I freaked out when we realized this. So I posted on my chicken groups on fb asking what I should do. A lady had the same thing happen. So she suggested I do what they did, and Super Glue her hole shut. I did it, and a month and a half later she's completely healed, no evidence of injury at all, and she's twice her size!! She's such a happy chick, and is mommy's girl big time!! Any time daddy opens the door of the parrot cage she flies out and Lands right on my lap! She always comes right to mommy!! I decided due to her life threatening injury she needed a second second name. I decided she had victory over death, so the most fitting name for her would be Nike. After the goddess Nike, incidentally that's also where the company Nike got their name. The name means victor or victory. And after the gods would have wars, she would award the winners with flowers. Nike was awesome!! So my chickys full name is Chicken Tender Nike. And we just found out this morning she has three new siblings. Unlike the soap opera tenders birth was, we know who these three babies parents are. Icicle, my Sussex, and tenders daddy's nephew Chicken Pot Pie. who's an Ayam Cemani and Ameracuna mix. I can't wait to see what they'll grow up to look like. another weird and interesting fact about my Tender. Her legs went from orange, to all white legs like mommy!! It was so crazy they changed color! I've never seen that before. So i hope you enjoyed my black diamonds life story. Have A blessed day.
