My Chickens in China!

Hello Everyone,

You know those optimistic people that want something and just go for it? We'll that's me and now our family has 8 chickens and might be adding more soon. I have never raised chickens....but man, they are entertaining!

We live in Sichuan Province in the lovely PRC. We in addition to some other important work, I am teaching English. We just recently moved to a village road behind my university and we were super excited to start our lil homestead here. We bought our hens at about two months old and have had them for 7 weeks now. Neighbor gave us a big healthy hen that has been giving us an egg a day.

breed.. not too sure.. hoping to get some cool black hens (they lay blue eggs) forgot the breed at the moment.

Hobbies- Hiking, camping... Man stuff! Hunting when Stateside

Found BYC when one our hens was sick a few weeks ago
