Hiya there! It's the spring season so I thought I'd share my poor excuse for an incubator. I'm currently using a inkbird plug and play controller (ITC-308) and it ranges from 98.9-101 rarely going down to 98.5, and generally regains temp pretty fast, so I hope that it will work for my eggs (fingers crossed)
These are the materials that I am using for this set up currently:
20 gallon tank (reused from some old quail and cleaned throughly)
Old blankets
Desktop fan (From good old Walmart)
Light bulb extension cord
60 watt bulb
Old cookie tray
Ceramic bowls
Egg carton
PVC pipe (3/4")
Hydrometer
Bubble wrap
Styrofoam (from an old incubator)
Some of the materials listed aren't in the photos because I haven't assembled everything yet. Im planning on gluing some pvc pipe on the carton for a turner and buying a hydrometer, and I will probably end up buying more stuff too lol.
I would love to know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions I will gladly take em
