Hi everyone,
So we got a bigger incubator where I moved all my eggs to and I have 5 Orpington eggs that are in lockdown That moved from my homemade lockdown box to my smaller incubator.
I candled them quickly while moving and some were concerning but 1 was definitely close to popping.

What I didnt know was that my son removed the tray from lock to tilt and just as I gave the incubator water, my son bumped me and the tray tilted causing all 5 my eggs to roll.

None got damaged but I immediately placed them back into their original position but now I don't see much movement from my eggs as I did before.

PLEASE TELL ME THEY WILL BE OK!!!😓😭

When they get ready to hatch they often stop moving. They will be fine.

When chicks pip and hatch the unhatched eggs will get kicked and tossed around so they should be ok. :fl

Right! I had all the eggs numbered and planned to know exactly which chick came from which egg . . . I had a variety of egg colors . . . that went right out the window when the first chick hatched, lol.
If you want to keep them separated so you know who's who, use Hatching Bags or put a divider in your incubator at lockdown. These keep chicks separated so you can band them for i.d.

I had massive stress and panic the first time I incubated eggs and something similar happened to me. I thought the egg that got knocked was done for.

Then I saw what happens to the eggs once one of the chicks hatches. It's like a mini T Rex playing football in there. Nothing you can do to disturb the eggs can come close to comparing to what's about to happen to them when they start hatching lol!

They will be fine!
