I keep making threads for all of my breeding projects, and I realized, I should just make a thread for all this stuff I wanna do, like my friend @Yard Farmer. So a few of my projects are making Blue breasted red modern games using Black breasted red and lemon blue, Breeding and working on the Ermine Ameraucana color (and possibly making Blue ermines!) Making a bunch of cool bantam Easter eggers and bantam olive eggers by using bantam ameraucanas crossed on various bantam breeds, zombies, making a large turkey-like chicken, and more! I will post some pictures of project birds later.

That sounds fantastic! It's a terrific idea to combine all of your breeding endeavors into a single thread, as it greatly facilitates tracking your progress. Your lineup is outstanding: modern games with blue-breasted red from black and lemon blue, Ermine Ameraucanas (and maybe Blue Ermines! ), zombies, bantam Easter eggers, bantam olive eggers from crossed bantam Ameraucanas, and even a project that looks like a turkey. When you publish the photos of your project birds, I can't wait to see them!

This is Crele, and indio Gigante/bielefelder mix. He's what I'm using for my turkey-fowl project. I'm gonna cross him over my layer flock. My friend (who has his dad, a pure indio Gigante) is gonna breed his dad over her layer flock as well. Chances are, her crosses will be bigger than mine since her chicks will be 1/2 IG, while mine will only be 1/4. I'm also planning on getting some leige fighters later in the year and I am going to cross them in the project.

The gal I was gonna get my lemon blue modern game bantams from already sold her two hens. So that project will be put on hold for a while. So this year I was planning on getting bantam ameraucanas. I want to breed them pure, but now I think I will use my cull roosters and bred them with other types of bantams. I want to get bantam welsummers and breed them as well to get bantam speckled laying olive eggers. Idk what the other bantam EE crosses will be made of, but I'm getting a bantam assortment in chicks soon, so probably whatever hens I don't breed as pure birds from that assortment.

Another project of mine is my standard ameraucanas. I have a blue and black rooster (and some BBS eggs in the incubator) and three Ermine ameraucana male chicks on the way. Though the hatchery I'm getting them from (cackle) breeds Ermine to Ermine, and like blues, Ermine doesn't breed true. So what they send out is 50% Ermine, 25% dominant white, and 25% black. I can make more ermines with Ermine and dominant white cockerels, but a black is totally useless to me unless I would have Ermine or dominant white hens, which I don't, because Cackle was sold out on those.
