My Toulouse goose flew 20 ft.!

My Toulouse goose flew about 20 ft. about two feet over the ground!

All geese do that. I have owned several varieties and they all love to spread their wings, take off about 2 feet of the ground and will fly about 50 ft. Even my heavy weights. Amazing and beautiful.

Mine will get a running/flapping start and jump off the back of my septic mound. the mound is about 3 feet tall back there. my geese have used that to get about 11 feet off the ground... then they kind of freak out and "land". lol if you call that landing. then the honking starts ..wow.. do they get worked up after a little flight. .. very fun to watch.

I saw my Toulouse, Sid, do a 2 foot of ground flight for about 10 or 12 feet, I was gobsmacked, then he attacked me because I was too near the nest lol. He is so big I think we would have to call local air traffic control should he ever be able to carry out a full flight!
