Mystery Chick Identification

Good morning, all. I ordered my first chicks through Murray McMurray and as many others, received a mystery chick. This guy/gal is 4 1/2 weeks old. I've always thought he/she was a roo, but now I'm not so sure. Any thoughts on what breed this could be and whether it's a roo or pullet? (As a note, my order included Whiting True Blues, however, this one's size and shape are completely different than it's sisters who are mostly the same coloring.)

Could be a black copper marans. I’m not great at this game but I’ve had a few and this one reminds me of them

nah, Marans are supposed to have feathered legs. I would guess a Jersey Giant or an Australorp would be more likely.

Not necessarily. There are feathered and clean-legged varieties. I’ve had both. Definitely agree it could be an Australorp
