Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today - 2024

Oh that's a good idea! I wonder if cats would use it? I have the producers pride ones.
They probably would 🤔 we bought the dogs a fancy igloo house with heated pad but they’ve been sleeping in the duck house instead :th

Just curious, what does rain have to do with it? Does it make the wallpaper harder to remove?

It’s the worst project ever - at least here. The original owner attached it directly to the drywall, then mudded over it, and then painted it. And then I painted over all that.
It rain a lot here at the moment, so the environment has lots of moisture in it, uncomfortable as it is and worse having to do such a big job like removing wallpaper and paint as well.

Many years ago we removed wallpaper in one of the rooms, we hired this little plate thing to remove the wallpaper. We just put it onto the wall, steam came out from this thing soften the wallpaper, then we peeled it off and washed the walls to remove residual glue.
I remember it was a big job and it was just 1 small room.

This is the kind of work that best done in winter season, it is physically more comfortable to do it in cooler weather.

That makes sense!
We have a steamer too, it helps with removing the glue but like I said, they glued directly to the drywall (and apparently you’re not supposed to do that). It’s the worst job I’ve ever undertaken at this house!

Good thing the weather is cool over there.
You could make a party of it like have good music on, nice food to eat while doing it. How they put the wallpaper on made removing it so much harder.

Every walls in my house are covered in wallpaper, except for 1 room that we removed many years ago. I look at them sometimes and wonder..about when...get on having them remove?

I will cook breakfast
Worry about my sweet girl Basil who laid a shell less egg this morning. She got everything she needs to lay a good egg, and she was laying good eggs until this morning. It usually start out like this with Isa Brown hen, then it goes all over place and they die of reproductive ill health.:-(
Eat breakfast and start on my very long list of things to do today.
