Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today - 2024

1. Was going to open the hives, bees made it easy as they are flying strong and I don't have to.
2. Feed and water for the yardbirds done, now clean out old straw and lay down new.
3. Ride over to my brothers to check out his new Duel Sport Kawasaki which I may be getting also.
I’m looking at the new Himalayan 450 from Royal Enfield

Introduced a new Premier 1 waterer into the run. Picked up each girl and held her beak to it to push - met with much resistance and confusion. Did this three times. All new. Removed other waterer. They are not happy.
Back out to 'train' girls to the waterer. Put a black oil sunflower seed in the little tray as suggested, one girl removed the seed without even trying to pick the nipple. This is going to be more difficult than I thought. They are extremely chatty in an upset way.
It started pouring. First real rain since hurricane Milton. Grateful for the rain. Will make another attempt to train them to the waterer later. Don't want them to dehydrate.

Made a pot of spaghetti sauce for dinner; the aroma carries throughout the house.

Finishing up a painting I've been working on for a while.

Debating taking down my outside Christmas decor. It's a blow up Nativity Scene. I always wait until after The Epiphany but we are supposed to get bad storms and high wind today and I don't want it to get ripped. I will also can some carrots and go to my sister's house to take care of her bunnies while she is out of town
Yah, take it down. It'll get destroyed if not.

Still makes the saliva flow when I do the homemade tomato sauce with the meatballs.
