So this week it’s supposed to snow here and drop into the teens my chickens run and coop is sheltered and dry so they should be fine but I have one hen she’ll be turning 10 this spring
I’m just worried about her in the cold weather so I was planning on bringing her in the house for a few days I doubt the temperature will stay that low for very long
Anyone have any advice or experience with this should I bring her inside or leave her in the coop
Thanks

You could just keep an eye on her a bring in if struggling or you can be cautious and watch tv with chick inside 😉😉 whichever makes you feel better

As long as she is sheltered from the wind and snow she will be fine outside despite her age. I have chickens that will be 10 and 11 years old in the spring. I keep them with the rest of the flock regardless of the weather and I live where winters are cold and snowy. They have a draft free coop and a run that is covered in plastic (the top is open for ventilation) and they do fine on even the coldest of days.
