Need fertilized Blue Australorp eggs

@3KillerBs , are you at the stage in your program to sell eggs?
Not yet. Mainly just raising for eggs for personal use and for friends and family. Out of my first group of 9 chickens, two of them were blue Australorp. They’ve been such good layers with such friendly temperaments (not to mention, so pretty), I would like to have a few more. With eggs going up, I’m getting more and more requests for eggs, so I’m ready to get a few more laying hens. I’m down to the one blue australorp and she has such a maternal temperament. I thought if I could find some fertilized eggs she would adopt and hatch them.

I was asking KillerBs if they were at that stage to sell eggs from their blue australorp flock

Listening to Patera of Appalachian Homestead I am now looking toward australorps this spring. She has black, but I remember you like blue so now I am online going to Google to see what they look like.

Here you go.

Hope I can find some. When I checked McMurray and Cackle, seems they won't be available until late spring. Well, geesh, if we purchase early spring they won't be laying until early fall, so I kinda don't want to wait until June (I think that is when site said available). We'll see.

Then again, I believe I saw some eggs on eBay. Purchaps that is the way we should go. I have an incubator in my Amazon cart.

Thank you for sharing these photos. :)

I got mine from Welp -- the disadvantage being that you have to order at least 25 chicks and that you have to order 5, 10, 15, etc. of the same breed.

IIRC, Ideal is carrying them now.
