Need help , dead chick

Yeah, it isn’t an expensive incubator at all. I’m from Bosnia and Herzegovina, if there is one that you could recommend, that would be great. I’m not sure if I’m going to try again with this one, it was very stressful..

I agree with @BigBlueHen53. If you had a desire to do this in the first place and you have the ability to take care of baby chicks, then by all means, do so again. I doubt there is anyone here who had great success from their first time. It is just reality. If all parameters are perfect, then you may have success but there are always circumstances that are out of your control. Some people can't handle the drama. Drama is part of life. Reality is not always a pretty picture.

For an accurate thermometer/hygrometer, I highly recommend the Govee brand, which has many options. The following links may provide you with access.

I've used several older copies of an older model - the H5074. One similar will require a smartphone to access the data. They are Bluetooth and you won't even need to be near the incubator to know what is going on in there. They also constantly track and record data.
If you don't have a smartphone with Bluetooth to access the data, there are standalone models with digital displays.

Please do not be discouraged and do not quit trying! You only lost two chicks in your first attempt. My DH and I set 22 eggs our first time. Only 9 hatched and 7 were cockerels! We put them in the freezer but we still have the two hens. Keep trying, you will succeed, you have good helpers here!
