I had a chick struggle to get out of the egg for nearly three days, we could see his beak poking out and breathing, but we dont really know what to do so we didn't attempt an assisted hatch. Today late morning, it finally hatched and is seeming to be healthy other than the fact that it has egg shell stuck to its belly wings and back. Another weird thing is he seems to already have developed a row of feathers similar to our three day old chicks in the brooder. He can walk okay and seems healthy but is very covered in shell. Do we remove it? How do we do that? Do we move him to brooder (he seems still a little damp)? Is he starving? Thirsty? Please help we dont know what to do!
Note: we also have other chicks trying to hatch in the incubator and don't want to open it for too long and hurt them trying to hatch

He can stay in awhile, if there's room.
Can you get picture
here are some pics from a few hours ago, he is now up and walking and a little more dry but the shell is still stuck

This chick may have come close to being shrink wrapped. Add a bit more humidity for those still hatching.

You will have to decide if any of the stuck shell (and membrane) are causing issues. I find that food grade oil works well to remove it, but that gets messy and doesn't dry.

Does anyone know if mild dish soap would be good to use on this chick?
