New silkie mom of 2. One of my chicks keeps digging her head in to the shaving. Is this normal? What can I do to help her? She also seems to balding behind her head

How old is she? Do you have any picture or a video? Videos should be uploaded to YouTube or other similar site, with a link posted here. Is she in a brooder with same age chicks? Are the others pecking her head?

She may have wry neck, a neurological symptom that causes the neck to go down, up or twist to the side, and sometimes walking backwards or in circles. Silkies can be prone to it. It can be from a head injury, a vitamin E deficiency, and when older, certain viruses can cause it. The balding behind her head may point to head injury, but sometimes others may peck a chick with wry neck symptoms. I would get some human vitamin E 400 IU 1 daily, and B complex tablets (give 1/4 tablet) daily for a couple of weeks. Also feed just a little of a cooked egg daily for selenium. She may need to be separated with a screen or in a wire crate from the other one. Help her to eat and drink several times a day with mushy wet chick feed, egg, and water. Here is some reading about wry neck:

How should I cook the egg? Scrambled? Sorry I am new to this.Thank you so much

Scrambled soft, chop into small bits. Just a little is needed daily. She needs her feed mostly with a little egg.
I know it’s only been a couple of days but the bump on her head is getting bigger. What can I do?
