I'm new to the site and still planning on my first chickens in the Spring. Greener than green basically!!!! I live on my husbands farm in Southern Alabama where they raised a lot of chickens 30-40 years ago. Digging around in barns I found these great antique wooden chicken crates. Some are a bit tattered, but some are in excellent shape. Just wondering if anyone here would be interested in buying one if I place them on the for sale page? They are solid wood on bottom with wooden bars wired together around the sides and a slatted wooden top with a door.I'll post pictures if anyone is interested. Please get back with me. I saw one just like it on ebay and they were asking around $300.00. I was thinking of selling for around $100 plus what ever shipping would be. I hope that's fair? Anyway thanks and I hope everyone is having a great week.

Once you have a post count of 20 or more you can place an ad in the Buy ~ Sell ~ Trade section. I'm sure some of the chicken people here would be interested. So get that post count up and see

In the meantime have a look at our Learning Center for an introduction to chicken keeping. You'll learn lots there!
