Hi, all,

Is anyone on here able to build a run this week/end, or recommend someone? I can pay for materials and labor.

Chickens live in a converted tool shed, run will be 10'x16' or 16'x16'. I'm handy but need help and kept putting it off (the basement flooded, other house maintenance projects took prioriity) now i'm on a deadline (going out of town for work).

I want it built with hardware cloth extending out to prevent rodent infestation and partially roofed. Prefer a licensed carpenter or someone who's very experienced. I'll look on Angie's List too but I thought I'd put it out there to fellow chicken keepers.

Thanks in advance -
D

Contact your state thread, contact your local Tech School, and ask for names. Contact your local high school if they have a shop program, and ask if there is a high school student who is reliable. However, that comes with risk, b/c you will be hiring a minor to work with power tools! IMO, the chance of finding someone to show up at your house 48 hours from now are between slim and none.
