Need to rehome Pekin drake ASAP

I had always thought if the ratio was correct, then this type of thing wouldn't happen but just recently a friend of mine who has a drake and 5 female ducks drown his favourite. He just wouldn't leave her alone. My friend is a vegan so she "rehomed" him but she knows it was for processing. It's confronting for sure.

Oh wow thank you for sharing that. My female with bumblefoot also has deformed legs so she walks very slow and different. She is my favorite duck and I would be so devastated if something happened to her or anyone else. That's awful that one drowned. I got them a deep pool which they love but I'll have to keep an eye on them for sure.
