We just brought home our newest chicks. They are tiny. We have a brooder area set up in our current coop outside, but is isolated from our hens. The current temp here is 91 degrees. Would you still turn the heat lamp on during the day?

Absolutely not at 91. With a heat lamp that would be well over 100+ degrees underneath. If a chickens internal temperature reaches 100F it starts to cause heat stress and can be lethal. With such little guys that would cook them. At night only depending on how cold it gets?
