so yesterday one of the last duck eggs was hatching, (nearly fully out) and i had a look at his yolk sac, which was not fully absorbed. (he was taking days to come out so we had to help him a bit) it wasnt fully absorbed, so i left him in his egg to wait for him to be ready. a few hours later he kicked himself out on his own, but his yolk was still a little out. he was kicking himself around so we put him in the brooder to dry, but since this morning its looked a bit infected, i think i saw a little pus, and he's just been laying and sleeping. we gave him some water, dipping his beak in and lifting it for him to swallow, and we might want to force feed him if he doesnt get up soon. the last one hatched after him, and hes already fluffed up and shuffling around, doing better than the others. the sick duckling doesnt even seem to be in pain, hes just sleeping a lot and looks very weak, like how they look when they first hatch, not being able to hold his head up alone. I'll attach photos :( i hope he gets better

How Is The Baby ?
i have been putting crumbs in his mouth (chick crumb just to clarify haha) and then dipping his beak in the water so he swallows it, he has began to lift his head to drink when we put the water in so thats good, and instead of just laying on his side he has been sat on his belly, and lifting his head a little more. still very sleepy
