New layer keeps laying on floor.

I have a hen who has been laying for around a week. She only lays on the floor in the same spot. I have around one nesting box per 2 hens. How do I fix this? Also, I don't know if this matters, but yesterday she layed a double yolk egg.

It is not at all uncommon for pullets to lay double yolkers. Once the reproductive system fully matures, this resolves.

It is also not uncommon for new layers, that don't learn from old layers, to lay on the coop floor.

To encourage them to lay in the nest boxes, make them more appealing than the floor. Make them slightly private, have thick fluffy dry bedding and put some fake eggs or golf balls in there. They'll catch on soon enough.
