Hi everyone, new member, long time reader. We have 2 Roos (Elvis & Hei Hei) & 9 Hens Avril, Chicken little, Loretta, Mama B; the rest are still earning their names. This is our 1st year with chickens. Our Hen Mama B went broody (hence her name) & is in the process of hatching a 16 egg clutch, she’s hatched 4 eggs, 8 chicks total, 7 made it…so far

How eggciting, chicks. I hatch out chicks every year. I used to let the broody's do it but now I use an incubator. Good luck with you hatch and flock and have fun...
