(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am very new! I haven’t gotten any yet, I am currently trying to find all the regulations we need in order to get some.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None! I am wanting to get about 5-7.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I am looking at getting some Easter Egger, Orpington, Plymouth Rock and Isa brown
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I’m trying to go more homemade. I have been doing sourdough, gardening and would love to add some chickens. I would love to do more friendly I have children. So I would love for all of us to be able to handle them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love to cook, garden, and arts and crafts.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married and have 3 kiddos, they are 13, 9, and 5. I have three dogs, German shepherd, black lab and a mini weiner dog. They are amazing puppies. I work at home full time.
