I have two pair of Mexican Speckled quail and about seven eggs in my homemade incubator. I've hatched plenty of chicken and duck eggs, but quail are new to me. I know by the markings and color that I have two males and two females. They are in the same pen. I feed them flock raiser. As far as the eggs are concerned they have been set for about 8 days. I candled them and they are showing development. Incubator is at 99 degrees and 45 percent humidity. Anyone have any advise on things I should or shouldn't be doing? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have a handle on it. Try to keep the humidity in the 43 to 45% range until day 21, then up to 60% for the last 3 days. Good luck with your hatch.

Oh yes I do, thanks. I forgot to mention that. I also have a store bought bator, but have had better hatches with my homemade bator.
Sometimes DIY are better...I have 3 DIY cabinet bators that are just as good or better than GQF's.
Also, what % protein is the all flock your feeding?

I would get a higher protein feed if I were you.
Good luck with your hatch.
