New Turkeys pecking me! Is this just normal?

Hi I'm new to owning turkeys. I just bought 1 Tom and 2 hens - only had a couple of days. They are lovely but find me very interesting. They peck and pull at my clothes, coat, wellies, gloves. If I sit with them they have a good old peck. Is this just curiosity or domination? They don't do it to my husband. They do follow me around more than my hubby.

What's best course of action, just ignore it and they'll soon get to know me?

It's not a problem at the moment as it's cold and ive plenty of layers on, but come summer I could imagine the pecks may hurt!

Many thanks 😊

Sounds like you bought human imprinted turkeys.

If they were mine I would not tolerate it. Use the sweeping end of a broom to push them away and keep them at a distance from you.
