Newbie chicken mom here!

I am a wife and mother to 5 beautiful children of the human variety. We took the leap on April 30th of 2024 and got 5 chicks from tractor supply. We asked for 2 Isa browns, 2 rhode island reds, and 1 black sex linked, all pullets. We didn't get that exactly but that is for another post. I had no idea how much my children would love those chicks (and rooster) Chicken math is already taking over. My children have an order hatching in 3 weeks for a brahma, ameracauna, barred rock, jersey giant, and buff orpington. The chickens have been a wonderful addition to the family.
