Hello! I am a first time chicken owner! I am super stoked and nervous and excited and all the rest of the feelings too! I hope to do well with my ladies and hope to be a great community member here as well! I decided to copy-paste those questions for new members to make this easy.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Totally new! My girls hatched 7/14 and I picked them up 7/17.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Three (hopefully) pullets! Moonpie, Starcrunch, and Twinkie.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Three different kinds: Easter Egger, Green Queen, and Black Australorp.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the personalities of my girls that are developing. Already even at 3 weeks, they have so many differences! I also love our little coop and am excited to feed the girls all the garden scraps!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Walking with my dog, gardening, paddle boarding and an addiction to kdramas!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Civil Engineer, married, sweet 7 year old mutt named Dusty and wild 1.5 year old cat Poke!
