Hi Folks! Happy to be here and learn from this community!
About me:
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens! I finally own a home and can have a coop and a yard for some free-ranging.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We just got our 7 chicks today!
(3) What breeds do you have? We have 4 Bielefelders and 3 Lavender Ameraucanas
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? We are animal lovers and happy to add to our family! These girls will be so spoiled..we are excited to build a trusting relationship with them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Home improvement, community activism, birding, thrifting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a husband and three girls; 19 and 13 year old stepdaughters and a 7 year old daughter. We have 3 elderly pets in their mid-teens; a tabby, an all black cat, and a chihuahua. My career is in corporate marketing.
