Non GMO layer feed

Hi!!! Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are about the non gmo organic feeds that you can buy at Tractor Supply. We are trying to find a good feed for our laying hens that are non gmo as well as a fair price. We have about 50 hens so we buy a lot of feed. They are free range all through out the day. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

At my tsc, we have Nature's Best Organics, Cluck & Co Organic Feed and Dumor Organic, all are non gmo verified.

I don't think the sell this brand of feed at TSC , but the one I use is called New Country Organics. Its awesome and my chickens love it!

The whole market segment doesn't make economic sense to me, but its not my money.

Nutritionally, its difficult to get good Organic chicken feed due to a shortage of reasonably priced nutritionally dense ingredients to form the rest of the recipe around - but the TSC off the shelf options aren't significantly better or worse than the typical non GMO organic offerings in the marketplace, and adult laying hens have about the lowest needs, nutritionally, of any age or type of poultry.

You can also get just non-GMO from Kalmbach if that is more important to you then organic. Nature's Best is a very good feed/
