Normal behavior for molting and poop?

change her feed to feather fixer feed
This feed does not 'fix' feathers, it's just a higher protein layer feed.
Non-laying chickens do not need layer level of calcium.
Get some 20% all flock instead. Have some Oyster Shells in a separate container for those still laying and for when they all come back into lay.

I think you're taking the name too literally. It's just a catchy name for a high protein feed with some extras to give them what they need to grow feathers.

But yes, any high protrin feed will do the job.

eather Fixer Chicken Feed is a specialized poultry feed designed to enhance feather growth and plumage in chickens12. It is recommended for hens and roosters over 16 weeks of age experiencing feather loss1. The feed contains high protein and energy levels, chelated trace minerals, prebiotics, probiotics, and grass and greens sources2

But

Yep, and the rest of what you posted is marketing crap too.
When this product first came out, years ago, it advertised some proprietary ingredient to kill feather shaft mites which was soon outlawed.
They kept the name and shtick(which many still fall for), but look at the nutrition label.
18% protein, 3.5 calcium.
Most layer feeds have a bit less protein and bit more more calcium, but it's still basically layer feed.
Sorry have a pet peeve against the plethora of marketing lies in the world.

Okay thank you!

Okay thank you! Is there any reason why she has been laying around instead of walking? Does she feel tired from her molt? Thank you for the help
Your welcome.

Molting takes up alot of there vitamins and energy, it also does not feel that good. Imagine some sort of hard straw starts trying to come out of your skin. How would that feel? So as you can imagine there not feeling so hot. And need more vitamins. That why I wouls recomend getting Nutri-Drentch for poultry.

I would quit handling her to check her crop. They often are in nests so other birds stay away, as they are quite sensitive to touch when molting.

Of course, take this with a grain of salt, I never handle my birds, never worry about their crops, never check their poops. I love to feed, them, water them, collect their eggs and watch them interact with each other.

Hi guys so I have been checking her and her crop still hasn't been emptying so I am getting worried that this could turn into sour crop. What should I do to try and get things moving I have been giving her messages. She also feels very skinny and her poops are coming out like the first and second photo I had posted. She has been eating her protein based food and although her crop doesn't empty out completely in the morning it is smaller then when I check at night.
