My hen pulls and eats my roosters feathers around his chest? She does it to every rooster until she leaves a bald spot ? Is this normal and is there any way i can avoid her doing it ?

A mix of layer feed and rooster feed. Shes currently in a 8x10 kennel

I have 0 idea. We pour our feed into a waterproof bin and toss the bags

This is pretty normal, the rooster tends to take it like preening. The hens as a sign of adoration. I had an EE rooster, and pretty soon his ruff was gone.

It does not seem to really bother the rooster in my experience.
