Is this poop okay, or does it look like possible coccidiosis? I wouldn't have been concerned, but all 3 of my chicks are pooping like this. They are about 4 weeks old. I should add that without thinking, I put different feed in their feeder yesterday. It was some leftover from the last bag (20% Dumor). They had been eating 18% Nutrena for the past week until I did that.

Thanks!

I used a bag of Dumor chick feed when my other brand was sold out and the chicks were pooping that same foul smelling chocolate poop for every poop! Cecal poop isn’t usually ever poop. I never used Dumor again and after a few days my feed store had my regular brand and I switched and the poop went back to normal. I think Dumor’s recipe is too rich. The feed itself smelled like sweet cake batter and chocolate.

Interesting! And yes, I agree it has an interesting smell. To me it smells very yeasty.
