Hey all!
Hi!
We have six pullets. We bought them all March 10… As of right now, three are laying. They had been going into the coop without problem for 1.5-2 months and now all of a sudden they are staying outside (ontop of their coop). This has been going on for about a week now. I did change the bedding and have sprayed for mites / flies so I don’t think that’s it… It’s a bit humid and we did have the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl with major flooding… I was wondering what else could be a problem? No lighting has changed. Could it be trauma from the flood and/or Fourth of July lingering? HELP…I’m stumped.
We have a camera out there and I have not seen any predator or anything that leads me to believe there is a predator lurking around… I’m leaning toward this is a habit I’m going to need to break, so what are your tips for that?
Thank you!
