Now in time of plenty, gather and store for times of want.

This makes me curious. Does anyone else store eggs without all the prep? I don't wash my eggs and keep them on a countertop in my kitchen, and they keep just fine there for months. I know I regularly eat 2 to 3 month old eggs with no issues. Winter means the countertop eggs actually start to deplete since we're not topping them off daily, but the girls always start laying for Spring again before we run out.
