NPA National Pigeon Association USA use a six year rotation. Year 2013 Green, Year 2014 Grey, Year 2015 White, Year 2016 Black, Year 2017 Yellow, Year 2018 Blue.

In a perfect world NPA National Pigeon Association USA use a six year rotation. Year 2013 Green, Year 2014 Grey, Year 2015 White, Year 2016 Black, Year 2017 Yellow, Year 2018 Blue are supposed to be the colour rotation. I guess we all know we do not live in a perfect world can not explain the pink it not supposed to be even on the radar.

The International Ornithological Association (I.O.A.), World Budgerigar Organisation (W.B.O.) & Confederation Ornithologique Mondiale (C.O.M.) use a six year rotation. Year 2013 Black, Year 2014 Green, Year 2015 Violet, Year 2016 Orange, Year 2017 Blue, Year 2018 Red.

Some bird clubs in Australia, use this six year rotation. Year 2013 Green, Year 2014 Black, Year 2015 Red, Year 2016 Blue, Year 2017 Purple, Year 2018 Gold.

Other individual clubs use different sets of colours for the same purpose.
It doesn't really matter what colours are used as the year is also printed on the bands, but it is good to have a consistent system with different colours for each year.
